October 1986 – Bob Rathsack combines his farming experience with
his military training during the Korean War as a technician on internal
combustible engines to establish Comprehensive Contracted Services,
Inc.  The business starts in the garage of his Fredonia, Wisconsin
home.  The business has only 3 employees and a 12 foot truck, but with
its focus on quality, flexibility and on-time delivery, in just 3 months the
fledgling company posts $8400 in sales.

June 1987 – Due to the growth in business, CCS rents a 500 square
foot facility and purchases 1 welder.

Mid 1990 – Thanks to CCS’ reputation for high quality, flexibility and on-
time delivery the number of employees grows to 25.

December 1990 – CCS purchases the building at 427 Park Ave.,
Fredonia, Wisconsin expanding the square footage to 5000 along with
an additional 4 acres of undeveloped land.

March 1992 – In an effort to accommodate the volume of business and
the diversity of services offered, an additional 5000 square feet is built
onto the existing facility, bringing the total available space to 10,000
square feet.

June 1996 – Jouko Salko joins CCS as Sales Quoter/Estimator,
allowing Bob to focus more on day-to-day operations.

December 2000 – Bob enters a semi-retired status, turning over the
day-to-day operations to Jouko.

June 2004 – CCS is certified IS0 9001:2000 by Eagle Registrations,
Inc.  For the year 2004, over 18 million parts passes through CCS for
processing.

November 2005 – CCS website launches.  Currently, CCS has 25
employees, 6 welders, a 26 foot straight-bed truck and has already
processed over 25 million parts.
